MARSMAN DRYSDALE NABUNTURAN AGRI-VENTURES, INC.

MD Nabunturan Agri Ventures, Inc. (MDNAVI), is one of the subsidiaries of the Marsman Drysdale Agribusiness Holdings, Inc. (MDAHI). Like most of its sister companies, MDNAVI is engaged in the planting and cultivation of Cavendish bananas and caters to the markets in Japan, the Middle East and other fast growing markets in Asia. It was established on 28 August 2000.

The plantation is located in the Municipality of Nabunturan, the capital town of the Province of Compostela Valley and is a two-hour ride from Davao City. Although the bulk of the areas leased are hemmed between the hills of Barangay Cabidianan, other acquired areas extend to the neighboring Barangays of Manat, Ogao, Anislagan, Sta. Maria and Antiquera.

The Management has been drawn to the site due to its accessibility and high potential owing to its favorable climatic conditions and high soil fertility. The Manat River that cuts through the length of the plantation makes drainage easily accessible and the soil well drained.
