MD DAVAO AGRI-VENTURES, INC., an affiliate of MDAHI, is located at Barangay Tagpore, Panabo City, Davao del Norte. MDDAVI has a target hectarage of one hundred eighteen (118) and established on 27 August 2000.

These companies were established primarily for growing and exporting quality bananas for export to Japan Market under the brand name "FRESCANA". When these companies were still in their infancy stage, their contributions to the community and to the locality were acknowledged by the local government. Concrete manifestations on economic and social benefits were vividly seen and felt by the people in the community where the expansion projects were located.

These three (3) barangays under the City of Panabo were fortunate to be part of the massive expansion program initiated and guided by the President & CEO of MDAHI, with the support and approval of the Chairman and Chairman Emeritus George M. Drysdale, Jr. and George W. Drysdale, Sr., respectively.

This is because MDAHI is known for its product quality and marketability coupled with good business ethics and labor relations, established rapport and mutual understanding with all its stakeholders. It is on this context that the company's leadership supported the initiative of pursuing accreditation with ISO 14001 as part of the commitment to preserve and protect the environment and promote social responsibility and corporate accountability.
